Averaging 300 events annually in this city, it's safe to say that I've witnessed it all.  Sometimes, navigating parking in Manhattan feels like the real sleight of hand.  I'm an expert on venues, parking, navigation, traffic, and any other challenges that may come up.

I've also developed a huge network of local entertainment, including DJ's, psychics, pastry chefs, photographers, and more! I can suggest reliable local services that show up on time. I mainly serve New York, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester, but bring my magic show anywhere.

This is as difficult a question to ask as "how much does a car cost?" There are a multitude of factors that most magicians use to decide what to charge per appearance. Here are some key considerations used by Gary to determine the pricing for your event:

Style of Magic: 

The type of performance will influence pricing. Strolling magic requires very little set up, whereas stage performances require more coordination, including sound equipment, projection screens, and tech checks.

Duration of Performance:

The length of the performance usually affects the fee. Magicians usually charge more for longer shows or for multiple performances in one event. This is especially true in busy markets like New York, where magicians can often schedule two events on the same day.

Location: 

The time spent traveling to and from your event is factored into the pricing. Sometimes this works in the client's favor, as the cost may be reduced if Gary is already appearing at an event in the same general area.

Reputation and Demand: 

Magicians who are well-known and in high demand tend to charge higher fees. Additionally, popular dates, especially around holidays, might cause rates to be higher than other days of the year. 

Skill and Experience: 

Gary's experience allows him to command higher fees. There are few performers that have the ability to consistently deliver a mind-blowing product to every kind of audience. We have found that crowds are surprisingly skilled at recognizing the difference between "good" and "great" entertainment.

Travel and Accommodation: 

If your event requires airfare or an overnight stay, these expenses may either be factored into the fee or billed separately.

Package Deals: 

Because the administrative tasks can be bundled, it can sometimes be cheaper to book multiple shows at once, rather than booking each show independently.

Customization and Additional Services: 

Some magicians offer customized performances tailored to the client's needs and preferences. Depending on the scope, these personalized shows may command higher fees. Additionally, optional services such as teaching magic workshops, or providing magic consulting, may have separate pricing structures.
